About Lisa More Design

I have been renovating luxury homes for over 20 years. My projects have ranged in style from traditional and transitional to modern in various locations such as, Connecticut, New York, Washington DC, Vermont, and Florida. Having experience not only as designer, but also as a construction manager and owner’s representative, I can completely understand and respond to the needs of a discerning home owner embarking on an extensive renovation project.

I help my clients re-envision a property so it becomes an expression of their own personal tastes and an enhancement to their specific lifestyle.  My designs are grounded in architectural integrity, optimal functionality, and quality construction. I believe exterior spaces are as important as interior spaces and that a purposeful connection between the two enhances the aesthetic and functional experience in both areas. 

Over the course of my career I have established trusted relationships with numerous suppliers, contractors, and specialty designers – such as, lighting and landscape designers, adding breadth and depth to my services. With this extensive team, I can provide my clients with the ultimate flexibility in design and goals, including fabrication of custom cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and closets. 

A renovation is not complete until the space is furnished.   With each client’s distinctive vision in mind, I offer unique furniture and decor solutions by drawing from a plethora of connections I have established with the typical purveyors of home furnishings, but also beyond them which include art curators, custom furniture builders, and antique dealers. With my client-centered designs and my network of resources, I create individualized, comfortable, and exceptionally beautiful homes and living experiences.
